CLOSING THOUGHTS
The purpose of this website was to provide you a chance to learn more about the Stay Safe Program and its founder Steve Summerville.
This program is incredibly unique and of great value as it trains everyday people who may work in threatening environments how to avoid, de-escalate or respond to workplace violence in order to stay safe.
An interesting note for you to consider this fact on the importance of Steve’s work:
In Ontario (Steve’s home province in Canada), NURSES are 3 times more likely to be assaulted on the job, than POLICE and PRISON GUARDS combined.
Most are not aware of this and thus, much is not done to improve this reality.
Steve’s programs (& website!) exists to Educate, Equip and Empower those who may need his services.
